Ascension Providence Hospital Continuing Medical Education (CME) is committed to providing the highest-quality learning opportunities for our physicians. Our overall goal is to develop and implement creative, ethical, evidence-based education opportunities that are designed to increase physician competence, enhance practice performance, promote patient safety, and where applicable, improve patient outcomes in the populations served by the healthcare providers we educate.
Ascension Providence Hospital is accredited by the Michigan State Medical Society Committee on CME Accreditation to provide AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ to physicians. Ascension Providence Hospital provides significant education enlightenment to our staff physicians.
Ascension Providence Hospital’s CME program offers accredited courses, live seminars, web-based enduring materials, PI-CME, ongoing faculty development series and departmental regularly scheduled series (grand rounds, tumor boards, etc.) based on the identified need and physician gaps in practice. The office of CME is dedicated to improving the skills and knowledge of physicians, other healthcare professionals, and educators in order to assist them in continuing to provide superior medical care to their patients.
